The NOVA Foundation is proud of the great success that it achieved at the 2006 Marine Corps Marathon! We would like to congratulate the following top finishing times for both the Marathon and 10K Race:
Marathon

We would also like to congratulate the top fundraisers for both races. With the help of our many generous donors, the NOVA Foundation was able to raise over $57,000 to help the nursing care of America's Veterans!

This will help fund the $10,000 William S. Bergman research grant. This grant will be awarded to a nurse researcher who is studying infectious diseases.
The NOVA Foundation hopes this assistance will further the education and research capability of VA nurses as they strive to give the best nursing care to those who deserve it most -- America's Veterans.
And remember, registration to participate with the NOVA Foundation team in the 2007 Marine Corps Marathon will open in early March, so be sure and act early to reserve your spot! The exact date and time will be announced soon, so be sure to check back on the website periodically for more information.
