PALO ALTO NOVA NURSES SUPPORT
NOVA FOUNDATION

The Palo Alto NOVA Chapter held its 10th Chapter Annual Meeting on January 22nd. Joycelyn King, a recently retired member, and I asked each attendee for a five dollar donation for the NOVA Foundation. The mission of the NOVA Foundation is to grant scholarships to VA nurses to further their education and to fund VA nurse research. Joycelyn also sold lapel pins that said, "VA Nurses, Caring For America's Heroes". We raised $739 by passing the hat, and selling the pins.
Our Chapter also honored one of our members, Ann Narciso, by donating $300 to the NOVA Foundation, in her honor. Ann was recognized for her commitment, dedication, and hard work for the Palo Alto NOVA Chapter during 2004. Congratulations, Ann.
