Dear NOVA Colleagues and Friends:

We have all watched in horror the effects of Hurricane Katrina as she washed ashore in New Orleans, Gulfport and Biloxi. The flooding is devastating, as well as the physical damage to homes and other structures. Katrina continued to leave a wake of destruction as she headed north, finally losing force and subsiding, but not before inflicting other damage on structures and lives. Other VA facilities may have been affected, in addition to the ones in New Orleans and Mississippi.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our VA nurses, their families and all VA employees in these areas. We offer our support as you piece your lives back together.
