The exterior of the Cool Scarves are 100% cotton, but the magic is in the special "cooling crystals". These scarves lower body temperature by cooling the neck -- they feel like a cool, damp cloth that lasts for days. Through evaporative cooling, they protect the wearer from the effects of extreme heat found in the deserts of the Middle East.

The retired nurses in VA Nurse Emeritus have partnered with Soldiers Angels to produce Cool Scarves for our Soldiers deployed to the Middle East. The funds raised in this project are used to support NOVA membership including the scholarship program. Your scarf sponsorship is a tax deductible donation.
Each scarf sponsored by a VA Nurse or Supporter is sent with the enclosure card pictured above. When you complete your order you will insert the text you want included with your card.
