NOVA and the NOVA Foundation are extremely sad to share the news of the death of our Executive Director, Deborah Beck. Deborah worked tirelessly to promote NOVA as the voice of VA nurses, and was a staunch advocate for VA nurses and veterans. She helped NOVA to grow as an organization, and we are grateful not only for her leadership, but also for her friendship. We extend our deep sympathy to her family, and we share in their grief. There will be a Memorial Service for Deborah on Friday, December 4, at 11:00 am at the Tysons Marriott in Tysons Corner, Virginia. A reception will immediately follow the Memorial Service. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Deborah's memory, to the NOVA Foundation, 1726 M Street, N.W., Suite 1101, Washington, DC 20036.
