Hotel Reservations

The NOVA Foundation has reserved a block of rooms exclusively for team members and volunteers for Friday through Sunday nights, October 29, 30 and 31, 2010 at a special NOVA Foundation rate. Upon registration as a NOVA Foundation Team member (Marathon, MCM10K or volunteer), additional information will be provided.

Weekend Activities

This year's Marine Corps Marathon offers many exciting activities to keep you and your guests entertained, educated and well nourished!

Friday and Saturday, October 29-30
The MCM 2010 Health and Fitness Expo will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC on Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm. This is where you will pick up your race packet, bib, and other race materials. Enjoy over 200+ exhibitors and vendors featuring everything runners want, including running apparel, gear, training and nutrition products, food samples, MCM licensed merchandise and entertainment! This event is free to the public. Parking is available at the convention center, which also has easy access to the Metro. More information will be available in your registration confirmation package.

Saturday, October 30
Carbo Dining In - The Marine Corps Marathon hosts the Carbo Dining In at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill on Saturday, October 30 at 6:00 pm with entertainment and a guest speaker. More information is available on the Marine Corps Marathon website. Seating is limited to 800 guests.

The annual Marine Corps Marathon Healthy Kids Fun Run will be held in the Pentagon North parking lot. Children ages 6-13 are invited to participate in the one-mile just-for-fun event. All participants receive a t-shirt, medal and snacks at the finish line. Parents, families and runners are invited to visit Camp Miles, a free activity area featuring interactive challenges and games focusing on health and fitness hosted by the National Children's Museum. Camp Miles activities begin at 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.

On Race Day - Sunday, October 31
The Marine Corps Marathon Finish Festival helps participants celebrate the excitement of finishing the MCM in Rosslyn, VA from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Hosted by Verizon Wireless, this event includes awarding of finisher medals, great entertainment and food, MCM finisher items for sale, interviews with runners, prizes and giveaways and much more.

MCM Online Training Tools

Looking for direction to maximize your training for the MCM? Through the MCM website, runners may purchase online training plans designed for people of ALL experience levels, from the first-timer to the seasoned veteran. Log and track cardio and strength training workouts, map favorite training routes, trace shoe mileage, access a suite of training calculators, and more.
