NOVA Foundation Research Dissemination Awards

The NOVA Foundation supports VA nurse researchers by providing funding to disseminate research findings in a professional forum.

Award: Up to $600

Number of awards: Up to 3 awards granted semi-annually

Eligibility for award:
  • The purpose of this award is to facilitate research dissemination. Dissemination of information other than research is not eligible. Research is defined for the purpose of this application as an original contribution to generalizable nursing knowledge.
  • All research presentations are eligible for award, whether the research was conducted as part of an educational program, in conjunction with employment responsibilities or with VA or other funding.
  • All applicants must be RNs who have a permanent VA appointment (Title 38 or Title 5) of 0.5 FTE or greater.
  • Researchers can only apply once per project.
