• Describe what we know about the numbers of nurses and midwives who hold elected office
• Describe what qualities and skills nurses and midwives bring to public service as elected officials and why that is important
• Describe what the participant can do to increase the representation of nurses and midwives in elected office
• Create a personal plan for increasing your civic engagement
