NOVA understands the importance of education and professional development for VA nurses. We have established partnerships with the following educational providers to offer valuable tuition discounts to NOVA members.
NOVA recommends that you check with your VA facility on what is acceptable regarding non-profit and for-profit educational providers. You may not complete clinical hours on duty time. Check with your education department for more information.
Thanks to the partnership between the Nurses Organization of Veterans Affairs and Capella University, NOVA members now have access to powerful education benefits to take you further in your career. With a focus on professional outcomes and student support, Capella is an institution that understands the unique requirements of the professional working adult.
The Nurses Organization of Veterans Affairs (NOVA) has an educational agreement with Excelsior College that will allow its members to pursue a nursing degree or certificate at a reduced rate. In addition, the agreement extends special pricing to the spouses or domestic partners of NOVA members pursuing degrees through any of Excelsior’s five schools, including Business and Technology, Health Sciences, Liberal Arts, Nursing, and Public Service. In total, the College offers more than 30 individual degree programs.
