NOVA Chapter 212

Hi! I am Carolyn Dunbar, NOVA Chapter 212 Vice-President. Chandra Ambrose, Chapter 212 President, and I are very proud of an activity that our Chapter was involved in during Hurricane Laura. We wanted to share with NOVA that Chapter 212 is still on the move. 

We delivered a truckload of donated goods to our Alexandria VA family who were impacted by Hurricane Laura. The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) Employee Association and the New Orleans NOVA Chapter collected items and worked with Voluntary Services and Logistics to arrange the delivery. In addition to four pallets of food, beverages, clothing and personal items, dozens of gift cards were donated to support our colleagues through this difficult time. We truly appreciate the donations to help our colleagues recover. The spirit of generosity once again proves that we are truly one VA family.

NOVA Chapter 212 has partnered with the Inclusive Care Medical Group and the Jefferson Parish Health Department and will be administering COVID-19 vaccines on Sunday, February 7, 2021.
